Project Outline:
The Yongren Energy Storage Demonstration Project marks a significant milestone as the first large-scale independent energy storage endeavor in Yunnan Province, China. But beyond its technical achievements, it's about people and progress, the project embodies a commitment to progress and community welfare.
With its robust energy storage capacity, it becomes a crucial ally in balancing the unpredictable output of renewable sources, enhancing grid performance during peak times, and ensuring the smooth and flexible operation of our power systems.
Moreover, the connection to the Guanghui substation, a 500kV hub, is remarkable. Few projects operate at such high voltage levels, showcasing the pioneering spirit of the Yongren project. Its unique function within Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) sets a new standard, representing not just technological advancement, but a testament to human ingenuity and innovation.
